Schwark is a co-founder and one of the original visionaries behind Truaxis (formerly BillShrink). As a result of his own family’s frustration with information overload and confusion when trying to switch cell phone plans, Schwark, a serial entrepreneur, started thinking about how to use web technology to solve this problem.
Schwark was previously an entrepreneur-in-residence with Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), where he explored opportunities to leverage the Internet and innovative information aggregation techniques to solve real-world problems. Prior to his tenure with BVP, Schwark was with Yodlee for eight years, where he developed the technology, co-founded the company, and served in a variety of functions, including chief technology officer. Prior to this, Schwark worked at Microsoft, where he was responsible for designing and developing several key features of Microsoft’s project management tool.
Schwark has produced seminal TCP/IP research and holds three patents, with 15 others pending. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Samir is a co-founder of Truaxis (formerly BillShrink) and manages product development by maintaining a constant dialogue with users and tailoring the product to meet their needs.
He previously led product management and strategy for TrialPay, a fast-growing company at the intersection of online advertising and digital payments. Samir had previously worked at BEA Systems, where he headed product marketing for WebLogic Workshop and played a key role in launching the WebLogic Platform. He also worked as a product manager with Microsoft. Samir also spent several years working as a venture capitalist with Battery Ventures and Summit Partners, focusing on investments in software and consumer Internet companies.
Samir graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s in computer science and an AB in Economics. He also received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Millar Scholar.

Jen is recognized industry expert on consumer and channel segmentation, specializing in the convergence of technology and retail innovation that improves retail operations and the consumer experience. She will be responsible for leading Truaxis’ sales effort with national and local merchants.
Her background includes 20 years of experience as a retail operations executive specializing in using innovations and technologies to improve the customer experience. Prior to Truaxis, she was the founder and managing partner of Retail Growth Partners LLC, a retail consulting practice focused on helping retailers and brands create long-term relationships with customers. She was also the Executive Vice President of New Business Development for ZoomSystems and has held executive positions at Bed Bath & Beyond, Brown Shoe Group, Sears, Saks Inc. and McMillan Doolittle LLP, a boutique retail firm in Chicago.
Jen studied finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a bachelors from Colby College. She serves on multiple retail and consumer products board of directors and also holds a seat on the Board of Governors to the University of North Texas Retail Merchandising School. She is a member of the National Retail Federation, International Council of shopping Centers (ICSC), Airport Council international (ACI), and was recognized by Chain Store Age as a ‘Rising Star – Top 40 under 40’ in 2007.
Casey joins Truaxis as VP of Sales and Business Development and a member of the senior management team. Casey has overall responsibility for the company’s revenue generation and the management of client relationships.
Prior to joining Truaxis, Casey served as a regional VP of Business Development for Webloyalty, Inc. In this capacity, Casey held a key leadership position and was responsible for all business development revenue and customer relationships in the Western US. Prior to Webloyalty, Casey led a new business unit at LookSmart, Inc., focusing on all aspects of building and delivering a white label advertising platform to online publishers. He also led channel sales in the education and non-profit verticals at Macromedia (Adobe), and had national responsibility for partner revenue targets and new product launches. He began his career at Telstra and helped launch Reach Global Services, a JV with Hong Kong Telecom (PCCW), and later a new business unit at MCI.
Casey holds a master of business degree from St. Mary’s College in California and a bachelor of arts degree in international management from California State University in Sonoma, California.
Balki brings more than 10 years of software engineering experience to Truaxis and is responsible for all aspects of product development, quality and delivery. Balki has been an integral part of the Truaxis engineering team from its inception and has shaped the company’s technology and products for the launch of six verticals.
Prior to Truaxis, Balki worked at another startup, Yodlee, for 8 years starting as software engineer and growing into the role of director of engineering. As director of engineering at Yodlee, he was responsible for the development of its flagship hosted/enterprise bill pay products and the management of local and offshore teams. He holds a master’s degree in Computational Engineering from Mississippi State University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Jenny leads Truaxis’ media strategy and the company’s branding initiatives. Since joining, Jenny has worked to expand the company’s visibility with media coverage in leading outlets such as USA Today, Dr. Oz, Consumer Reports, New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Fortune. She also drives Truaxis’ social networking and community efforts, as well as manages the company’s blog.
Jenny has worked in the communications field for more than 14 years and has led the marketing communications strategy at a number of technology start-ups and venture capital firms. Jenny was previously vice president at Fleishman-Hillard in both Hong Kong and San Francisco and the founder of communications consultancy PRQA. Jenny is a graduate of Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and holds a master’s in writing from the University of San Francisco.
